Required Educational Qualification Applicants must have possessed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.

Required Age Limit as 08.11.2016: Between 20 to 28 years. Age relaxation will be given as per rules

Mode of Selection Process : Will be based on Preliminary and Main examination followed by an Interview.

Reserve Bank of India (RBI), has released applications form for the posts of Officers in Grade ‘B’(General) on on temporary basis.

About Vacancy:

Name of the Position:Officers in Grade ‘B’(General)

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years (candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/07/1986 and not later than 01/07/1995) and Between 32 and 34 years for M.Phil and Ph.D qualification candidates as on 01-07-2016.

Educational Qualification : 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ ST/ PWD) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor’s degree as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th standard examinations.

Pay Scale : Rs. 35150-1750(9)-50900-EB-1750(2)-54400-2000(4)-62400

Selection Process : Online examination & interview.

About Reserve Bank of India (RBI) 

Recruitment Process in Reserve Bank of India

The Reserve Bank of India was established on 1 April 1935 in accordance with the provision of Reserve Bank of India Act 1934. The central office was initially established in Calcutta but later they got permanently shifted to Mumbai after 1937. The bank is governed by Central Board of Directors which is appointed by the Government of India. The Bank is constituted to – Regulate the issue of banknotes, maintain reserves with a view to secure monetary stability and manages the credit & currency system of the country. The bank has started its operation by taking over the Government functions performed by the Controller of the currency and Imperial Bank of India. After the partition of India, The bank has served as a Central bank of Pakistan till 1948 and got nationalised by the stakeholders in the year 1949.

The RBI performs its financial function under the guidance of Board of Financial Supervision which constituted in 1994.
