Educational Qualification : MBBS degree of any recognized University in the allopathic system of medicine or Post graduate degree in General Medicine with at least 2 years’ experience in any hospital.

Pay Scale : Rs. 750/- (Per hour)

About Reserve Bank of India (RBI) 

Recruitment Process in Reserve Bank of India

The Reserve Bank of India was established on 1 April 1935 in accordance with the provision of Reserve Bank of India Act 1934. The central office was initially established in Calcutta but later they got permanently shifted to Mumbai after 1937. The bank is governed by Central Board of Directors which is appointed by the Government of India. The Bank is constituted to – Regulate the issue of banknotes, maintain reserves with a view to secure monetary stability and manages the credit & currency system of the country. The bank has started its operation by taking over the Government functions performed by the Controller of the currency and Imperial Bank of India. After the partition of India, The bank has served as a Central bank of Pakistan till 1948 and got nationalised by the stakeholders in the year 1949.

The bank seems to play very important role in context of development mainly in Agriculture field. They have focused upon the concepts and practices that have pioneered to catalyse development. The RBI performs its financial function under the guidance of Board of Financial Supervision which constituted in 1994. They primary objective is to undertake consolidating supervision of financial sector comprises of commercial banks, financial institutes and non-banking Finance companies.

Career in RBI Bank

There are various vacancies offered every year by the RBI for recruitment of eligible candidates at various positions. Before getting applied to any vacancy the candidates are required to go through the eligibility criteria like age limit, education qualification, number of vacancies etc. After which the candidates can apply through the online or offline mode by downloading the application form made available to them on the official website. The application fee charged for the non-reserved candidates are Rs.100 which is required to be paid as Demand Draft in favour of Reserve bank of India at Mumbai only. Some of the vacancies offered by RBI are as for the post of Specialized Officers, Managers and Clerk for which the candidates have to go through the written exam followed with personal interview.  Candidates those who have qualified the written exam with good score are made to go through the final interview round.
