National Council of Educational Research & Training was recognized in the year 1961, is an organization established by the Govt. of India, with headquarters situated at Sri Aurbindo Marg in New Delhi, India to support and counsel the central and state govt. on scholastic stuffs associated to school training. Dr. Hrushikesh Senapathy was formally selected as new Director of National Council of Educational Research and Training in September 2015.

National Council of Educational Research & Training has broad extension lead programme in which depart. Of National Institute of Education (NIE), Regional Institute Education (RIE), Central Institute Vocational Education (CIVE) and offices of Field Advisers in the states are tied up in actions. Numerous programs are prepared in country side and backward zones to range out to representatives in these regions.
