Name of the Service:  SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION in Army Medical Corps

Age Limit: Candidates age should be  more than 45 years of age as on 31-December-2016.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have medical qualification included in First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Post-Graduate Degree/ Diploma holders such as MD/ MS/ MCH/ DM/ DNB/ DLO/ DOMS/ DA may also apply for these positions plus qualifying examination with compulsory internship.

Indian Army Recruitment 2016

Indian army is considered as one of the oldest and largest branch of armed forces in India. It provides training to the candidates regarding various artilleries, infantry and armed corps to fight on land in order to save the country from invasions. In order to grab a post in Indian Army one should be an unmarried individual and have passed higher secondary education with 70% marks and physics, chemistry and maths as subjects. Apart from these qualifications there is a mandatory need for five years of technical training from a defence academy. Candidate should be a citizen of India and must be of 16 years of age at the time of admission. For physical standards one must possess a height of 137 cm minimum with correlated weight. Eyesight for distant vision should be 6/12, 6/18.

After successful completion of course candidate is granite with permanent commission in army with Lieutenant Rank.
