Indian Army invites applications has announced recruitment notification for the posts of Indian Army as a Commissioned Officer through Short Service Commission for entry in Army Medical Corps.

Name of the Service: SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION in Army Medical Corps
Age Limit: Candidates age should be more than 45 years of age as on 31-December-2016.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have medical qualification included in First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Post-Graduate Degree/ Diploma holders such as MD/ MS/ MCH/ DM/ DNB/ DLO/ DOMS/ DA may also apply for these positions plus qualifying examination with compulsory internship.
Pay Scale: Rs.17160 – Rs.39100, + GP Rs.6100, Military Service Pay of Rs.6000, Non-Practice Allowance (NPA) @25% of basic pay

In order to grab a post in Indian Army one should be an unmarried individual and have passed higher secondary education with 70% marks and physics, chemistry and maths as subjects. Apart from these qualifications there is a mandatory need for five years of technical training from a defence academy. Candidate should be a citizen of India and must be of 16 years of age at the time of admission. For physical standards one must possess a height of 137 cm minimum with correlated weight. Eyesight for distant vision should be 6/12, 6/18.
After successful completion of course candidate is granite with permanent commission in army with Lieutenant Rank.
