Age Limit: Not above than 37 years as on October 01, 2015.

Educational Qualification: B.Tech in Safety & Fire Engineering or B.Tech in any branch of Engineering with additional one year Diploma Course in Industrial Safety Engineering (60% marks) or A Diploma in any branch of Engineering or Technology recognized by the State Board of Technical Education or equivalent.

Pay Scale: Rs. 16400-40500/-

Paper is more than an industrialized product. It is the traditional barometer of the country. Paper is required every day for broadening the frontlines of the knowledge. Yet, the per capita yearly consumption of paper is at around 4 kgs in the Country is amongst the lowermost in the world today.

HPC is a prolonged arm of the Union Government to strengthen the enterprise for knowledge thru the progress of the paper manufacturing. Today it is one of the chief producers of paper and newsprint in South East Asia. At the same time, HPC has been playing a leading role in the socio-economic expansion of the North-East region.

The strategic expansion of the paper industry in the Country started only during the after independence. The progress, on the other hand, slowdown in the sixties owed to the appreciation of cost and the shortage of forest-based raw resources. The inaction led to recurrent shortages of cultural diversities of paper, causing lack to common consumers. There were also the national task of mounting the technologically backward provinces for steady socio-economic growth. It was in contradiction of this background that the Govt. of India set up the Hindustan Paper Corporation (HPC) on 29th May 1970.

HPC group has 4 paper mills, 2 of which are units & 2 are subordinate companies. Over a period of 3 eras, HPC has erected up a total volume of about 3.35 lakh tonnes of paper & newsprint.
