Gun Carriage Factory (GCF) Recruitment for Semi Skilled Tradesmen
Gun Carriage Factory (GCF) is located in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The defence factory came into existence in 1904 and was started by the British in India. The factory is one of the 41 defence manufacturing factories governed by the Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) under Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, Government of India. OFB is headquartered in Kolkata. Being the first factory to be set up in Central India for supplying latest armaments and weapons to the Armed Forces, it is the oldest in the region also. Other factories located in Jabalpur are Ordnance Factory Khamaria, Vehicle Factory and Grey Iron Foundry. GCF caters the needs of the three wings of the Defence Force i.e. Army, Navy and Air Force. GCF is committed to deliver best battle field equipments, arms and ammunitions of greatest quality to our defence forces using latest technology.
The factory is equipped with sophisticated and world class warfare systems to manufacture wide range of products. The multi disciplinary company is manufacturing following products: Mortar, Vintage Gun, Pump Action Gun, Warhead Torpedo, Tank Mule, Air Defence Guns, etc. The company is ISO 9001- 2008 certified and has well equipped testing facilities with NABL accreditation. Regular quality checks ensure that the products conform to standards laid down by Quality Management System Planning.
