  • Constable (General Duty): 639 Posts
  • Constable (Tradesmen): 104 Posts

Age Limit : 18 to 28 years as on 01.08.2016

Educational Qualification : 10th / matriculation examination or its equivalent from a Board recognized by the Central or State Govt.

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200/- +Grade Pay : Rs. 2000/-

Selection Process :  PET/PST & Written Examination.

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) invites applications from Male and Female candidates, who full fill all the requirements for the posts of Specialist Doctors & General Duty Medical Officer.

Name of the Post: 

1. Specialist Doctors: 03 Posts
2. General Duty Medical Officer: 07 Posts

Age Limit: 67 years

Educational Qualification:

  • For Specialist Doctors : Post Graduate Degree /Diploma in the concerned Specialty and one and half years experience for Degree Holder & two and half years experience for Diploma holder.
  • For General Duty Medical Officer : MCI recognized MBBS degree with completion of internship.

Pay Scale: 

  • Specialist (Full Time): Rs. 57672/- (for C Class Cities)
  • General Duty Medical Officer: Rs. 47775/- (for C Class Cities)

Selection Process: Interview.

About Central Reserve Police Force

The Central Reserve Police Force is the biggest of Country’s Central Armed Police Forces. It functions below the guidance of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) of the Govt. of India. The CRPF’s chief role lies in supporting the State/Union Territories in police procedures to keep law & order & counter insurgence. It came into being as the Crown Representative’s Police on 27thJuly in the year 1939. After the Independence, it turn out to be the Central Reserve Police Force on depiction of the CRPF Act on 28thDecember 1949.

Besides Law & Order & counter-insurgency sense of duty, the part of CRPF in the General Elections, detained repeatedly thru the past couple of years, has been very important and dynamic. This is especially right for the trouble-ridden states of J&K, Bihar & in North East. For the duration of the Parliamentary votes of September 1999, the CRPF played a chief role in the safetypreparations. Of late, CRPF commissions are also being structured in UN missions.

With 230 battalions &numerous other formations, the CRPF is measured India’s leading paramilitary force.

The CRPF was derivative from the CRP (Crown Representative’s Police) on 27thJuly in the year 1939 with 2 throngs in Nimach, Madhya Pradesh. Its chief duty at the phase was to guard the British inhabitants in sensitive states of the Country.
