Age Limit as on 01-02-2017: Maximum 27 years
Education Qualification : M.E/ M. Tech/ MS or equivalent from any AICTE approved institution with 70% or equivalent CGPA for General and OBC candidates and 60% and above or equivalent CGPA for SC/ST/PWD candidates in Electronics & Communication or Computer Science & Engineering.
Pay Scale: Rs. 16400- 50500/-
Selection Process: Written Test followed by Interview.
- Applicants have to Pay Rs. 500/- through Online (State Bank Collect).
- There is no fee for SC/ST/PWD applicants.

Recruitment and Future Prospective with Bharat Electronics Limited – BEL
Bharat Electronics limited (BEL) is a state owned electronics company with about nine factories with certain regional offices in India. They are owned by Indian government and primarily manufacture advanced products for Indian Armed forces. BEL is one the eight PSUs under the ministry of defence and government of India. The corporate Head office of BEL is situated in Bangalore city. They were found in 1990 with the aim of conducting research, development and manufacture of image intensifier tubes and associated high voltage power supply units for use in military, security and commercial systems.
In addition, new products and technology including software defined radios, next generation bulk encrypted and high data tactical radio were also on show. BEL is the leading integrator of Akash, the Indian made guide missile air defence weapon system. Another major system is weapon locating radar which has undergone successful user trails by the Indian defence forces.
The BEL develop and manufactures the products in the field of- electronic voting machines, weapon loading radar, battle field surveillance radar, Doppler radar, central acquisition radar, telecommunication, sound and vision broadcasting, opto- electronics, semiconductors and missiles etc.
The BEL offers various career opportunities to the new talent based on specified requirement every year. The vacancies are available for the post of Machinist, electronic mechanic etc. The age limit specified for the related post is above 18 years and should not exceed 28 years in any discipline. For the above mentioned vacancies is that the candidate must possess an ITI Degree and one or three year apprenticeship certificate courses. The selection is based upon the written exam and interview.
The application fee charged for general candidates is Rs.300 whereas for SC/ST candidate fee is exempted. The interested candidates can apply for the vacancies by downloading the GATE application form that is made available to them on the official website. After which they can send it to the appropriate address that is provided to them through GATE authorities and have to wait for the admit cards. On receipt of GATE registration number, the candidate will be required to apply to BEL online.
The selection is based on GATE online examination and the candidates those who have cleared the exam successfully have to go under job oriented training and have to sign a service agreement to serve the company for a period of 3 years after training and should be willing to serve in any units or regional offices. The service contract is based on amount payable to the company which is Rs.300000.
